Designed by Vepr Industries, the Mark 5 X-SAR-98 is commonly nicknamed the "Jackal". An epic piece of engineering - it features some of the most advanced things you can get on an assault rifle. Consisting of a steel reciever, aluminum alloy parts and polymer grip areas, this weapon is truly as comfortable as it gets - not to mention the counter-recoil system in the stock, cheekrest, and excellent balancing. Of course, it is a bit heavier than most assault rifles; that isn't a problem, however, as the features outweigh the cons.

A revolutionary concept - a reticule is fired onto your eyeball to aim, allowing you to be very accurate without much aligning and adjusting. (Backup iron sights are there, of course.) It features a LAM/Flashlight module as well, powered by rechargeable Sony Lithium Ion high capacity batteries (rechargeable via twisting flashlight).
