Please remember that I haven't really 0.7'd in a staggering 5 months at the time of upload, while viewing the image.

While inexpensive antigrav and teleportation technology is available in the Intersun universe, it is extremely restricted to civilian use, used only on frontier planets closely monitored by military, interstellar spacecraft of a certain size or above and on a very high scale interstellar travel system between relatively highly populated planets and established colonies.

Oskolov Vertigo Carbon.

The Oskolov series is named after the famed first CEO of Vepr Electronics Inc., 2027. It centers around the inclusion of intense electronics, and is of course a supercar series.

The Vertigo Carbon is a supercar designed by Andrew Svetch in 2907. With only about 500 thousand in the universe at the moment, it is a pricey and rare piece. It features a standard four wheel drive system found in most cars at this era, but with a slight twist.

The Vepr patented X-Treme Sports Balance tires allow for extreme cornering with a three-in-one tire system. Basically, each tire is split into three vertical sections, and during a turn, each segment slides either up or down to keep all surface area on the ground, and allowing the tires to basically tilt. (Think of it similar to motorcycles tiliting to the side to turn.) This feature was designed in mind for races with extreme corners - but can also be used on the road in the hands of an excellent driver. The tires are also not physically attached to the vehicle, rather manipulated with very strong magnets (keeping the car permanently hovering over the wheels) and powerful electromagnets (that have many functions, including controlling the suspension, controlling the tilt of the wheel and each segment, and is responsible for managing an extreme fall.

The Vertigo has on board a tiny nuclear fission reactor capable of outputting up to 5000 horsepower. Overkill, never used, but it's there if you need it. Fueled by ultra-dense deuterium, the behemoth is encased within a very thick but light casing.

So it might be a little dangerous to shoot at this car. Just a little.

Obviously, a cooling system for this beast is required. What looks like the roof on the rear of the Vertigo is actually a large opening to a series of turbines that suck air from the front of the car. The air then passes through a large complicated series of tubes that cool the reactor and exits through the slits in the top. Closing the slits (only possible manually) will most likely overheat your reactor and cause a very small nuclear explosion... we shouldn't have told you that. We're quite sure however that you're not going to sell your family just to blow something up in a very expensive manner.

All this horsepower would be useless if not for the adjustable turbines found on the underside of the car that "suck" the vehicle to the ground to allow some more traction. This would be a disadvantage -- however, the nozzles have the ability to twist forward or backwards to increase speed.

All of this would not be possible at all without some sort of hypercomputer and AI to manage the numerous sensors, systems, and such. That is why we included the Shimpanze hypernetwork. This system includes an efficient and intelligent AI that is programmed to do an extraordinary amount of calculations and control most car systems so the user doesn't have to be a genetically engineered supergenious to control it. Not only can it do that, but it also is designed to think outside of the box in critical situations. For example, in an encounter with a vehicle of a rival manufacturer moving head on a mere 5 feet away, it might engage the underside turbines, twist the tires to the right, and back away within a few milliseconds, allowing the other vehicle to crash full force into the concrete slab instead of wrecking and annihilating everyone and everything 50 feet around with a micro nuclear blast.

It is also compatible with the CloudCar global network, allowing the user to calmly let go of the wheel confident that he will not be dead when he wakes up in ten minutes.

Luxury. Efficiency. Power. Vepr.
